For the folks that are planning their first elk hunts, we offer a hunt in Colorado that is a great opportunity but is comfortable for just about everyone that would want to go!  This hunt is on 12,000 acres of a private cattle ranch in the area of Meeker, CO.  This hunt begins on Saturday, October 3, 2005 and goes thru the following Thursday or Friday morning.  The elk numbers are good coming through the ranch, so when the guides put you on stand it is about 100% that you will encounter elk!  The bugling will still be going on so you can try your hand at calling or you can wait for the right opportunity!

• Prices:  $3,000 and that is for meals, lodging and the hunt!  You must apply for a cow tag by April 5, 2005 for $250 and there is a landowner preference that applies!....or a bull tag for $483.00 and the deadline is later in the summer!
• Bears  may be encountered and are available on this hunt and the landowner is in charge of that, once you get there!If you want to fly into Colorado, the closest airport is in Grand Junction and the guides will be happy to pick you up and take you the 70 miles into camp from there! 

TROPHY HUNTS
